Maintenance Helper
• 12 hr day shift in Grafton, WI Albany Molecular Research Inc. provides global contract research and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. The Maintenance Helper performs modifications and repairs to facility, properties, equipment and furniture, and assists in the maintenance and upkeep of the general facility, including custodial functions. RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for facility modifications and repair, encompassing electrical, plumbing, painting and light construction. Assures that these functions are performed in compliance with workplace safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and all applicable federal, state and local regulations, to the extent that the employee is aware of from discussions with the supervisor and training received.
• Maintain a working understanding of plant production processes, equipment, systems, and facilities in order to perform maintenance effectively, under general direction.
• Interact with, monitor and assist outside contractors and vendors in conjunction with their projects.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment and facilities in accordance with the company's Maintenance Schedule and SOPs.
• Use machine tools, hand tools, and other tools of the trade to work with a variety of materials within prescribed tolerances, as directed. 
• Locate, relocate, assemble and install equipment and furniture as needed or requested.
• Recommend and implement methods to increase the quality of products and/or services.
• Participates in self-development activities and training of others.
• Exhibits safety awareness and safe work practices.
• Performs other related duties as may be reasonably assigned in the course of business or as requested by supervisor or management.
