Manufacturing Support Coordinator in Rensselaer, NY
Albany Molecular Research Inc. provides global contract research and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. The principal responsibility of the Manufacturing Support Coordinator is responsible for a ssuring accuracy and completeness of all documentation associated with batch records for supporting API manufacturing.
Communicating and follow up on situations requiring attention/correction with appropriate QA and Facilities personnel, as well as for assessing and communicating to the supervisors those situations requiring attention and/or correction.

Other duties may be assigned.
• Initiate, review and complete batch records and cleaning records documentation to meet all release schedules for customer shipping.
• Maintain close professional relationship with building managers, production supervisors, and production technicians to coordinate the timely completion of documentation review and corrections.
• Maintain proper accounting of documentation being transferred either to/from QA and support QA with all tasks and activities required for its proper completion.
• Recommend and implement methods to increase the quality of documentation completion for right the first time metrics.
• Update Excel spreadsheet to keep track of all batch records that come in and out of the building on a regular basis. 
• Participate in self-development activities and training of others.
• Assist other departments such as, Supply Chain, QC and Master Scheduler for Oracle accountability reasons.
• Respond to and proactively addresses issues raised by internal and external customers.
• Work with others to create an environment where safety, quality and high performance are core competencies.
• Exhibit safety awareness and safe work practices.

Qualifications

Qualifications Required: 
• Associates degree in a Natural Science or related discipline OR equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. 
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Strongly Desired:
• Ability to communicate with personnel in other departments.
• Good scheduling ability (prioritizing of assignment) and organizational skills.
• Thorough knowledge of word processor and computer, including good typing skills for both.
• Ability to evaluate daily situations and determine action/source needed for corrective action when required.
