Quality Control Analyst II, Container Qualification in Lebanon, NJ AMRI provides global contract research and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. The Quality Control Analyst II in Container Qualification is an integral part of the AMRI team, contributing to our success by providing support for all lab functions required for the completion of analytical testing. • Independently perform complex testing related to container qualification compendial test methods and general chapters, such as USP <661>, <660>, and <381> and EP 3.2.1, 3.2.9, 3.1.3 etc.
• Strong knowledge of FT-IR analysis, DSC analysis, UV/Vis analysis, titration, atomic absorption, etc.
• Perform measurements, computations, and analyze results related to the testing conducted. 
• Perform non-routine instrumental analysis and physicochemical analysis in response to customer inquiries and projects as required. 
• Operate and maintain/calibrate laboratory equipment as per manufacturer’s recommendations and company’s standard operating procedures.
• Fully interpret, understand, and prepare USP <671> Permeation testing for unit dose packaging systems. This includes successful determination of appropriate desiccant size and an understanding of which tests apply to different unit dose packaging configurations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned, inclusive of assisting other laboratory groups.

Qualifications

EDUCATIONAL OR SKILL REQUIREMENTS:  Required:
• Bachelors Degree with a minimum 3 years’ experience in a laboratory environment and/ or pharmaceutical industry
• Wide knowledge of chemical analysis using appropriate instrumentation such as UV-Vis, pH meter, FT-IR, AA, and DSC.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in an organized manner to meet assigned deadlines.
• Experience authoring standard operating procedures is a plus.
• Strong written, math and verbal skills; highly organized and decision-making ability focused around details. Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities Preferred:
• Self-motivated/self-directed. 
• Computer literate – MS Office. Strong problem solving skills.
