QUALITY CONTROL ANALYST II in Grafton, WI
AMRI provides global contract research and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
The Quality Control Analyst is an integral part of the AMRI team, contributing to our success by ensuring that our products meet all specifications before being released to the customer through raw material testing, method development, validation, equipment calibrations, environmental monitoring, stability testing and final product testing.

In this role, you will:

• Conduct testing using approved analytical methods.
Apply established laboratory methods or techniques to analysis, develop solutions to problems.
• Contribute to technical reports by providing detailed experimental write-ups.
• Maintain up-to-date laboratory records in accordance with company guidelines. Clearly document research and results in laboratory notebooks so that others can readily reproduce work.
• Provide interpretation of data and possible solutions to unexpected results.
• Conduct testing of raw materials, intermediates, final products, or stability samples.
Determineif products meet specifications for release.
• Perform wet chemical analysis from USP or approved procedures.

Qualifications

Qualifications and background to be successful in this role:
Required

• 3-5  years’ experience in a Quality Control Laboratory.
• BS degree with a Chemistry or natural science major
• Ability to perform complex calculations on a regular basis and comfortable communicating complex data to others.
• Ability to efficiently base decisions on numerical data and communicate this data in easily understood formats.
• Ability to maintain effective time management skills when making decisions.
• Ability to be medically cleared to use a respirator by a physician
