Quality Control Analyst I in Lebanon, NJ AMRI provides global contract research and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. The Quality Control Analyst I in our Medical Device team is integral by contributing to our success through planning and executing accurate device and physical package testing in a timely manner as required by customer projects. • Assist with developing and validating test methods based on relevant ISO, ASTM standards and or client requirements.
• Independently perform tests per ISO, ASTM, and/or client requirements. Perform testing within the specified test plan and/or SOP for each test. Monitor projects for conformance with applicable SOPs and testspecifications.
• Prepare test specimens for package/material/device testing.
• Manage multiple projects/tests at any one time ensuring all commitments are met. Collaborate with and train other laboratory staff on a project basis as appropriate.
• Document results and review data.
• Analyze, interpret and communicate test results to senior management and clients.
• Author and review laboratory testing reports and/or associated technical documentation.
• Assist with the maintenance and operation of laboratory equipment, instruments and logbooks including calibrations, performance verification and equipment IQ/OQ/PQ.
• Develop a strong knowledge of the testing methods being used to analyze samples.
• Keep training logs and SOP readership up to date. Provide training to lab personnel for test procedures and methods as required.

Qualifications

Qualifications and background to be successful in this role: Required
• An Associate’s degree with two years of relevant industry experience or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relate field. Preferred
• Detail oriented.  Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities. 
• Self-motivated/self-directed. 
• Computer literate – MS Office. 
• Strong problem solving skills.  Strong organization skills. 
• Customer service oriented.
