SHIPPING WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR in GRAFTON, WI

The Shipping Warehouse Coordinator is an integral part of the AMRI team, contributing to our success by controlling material inventory and coordinating movement of materials between the warehouse and manufacturing, taking principle responsibility for preparing goods and products for shipment in accordance with all applicable laws.

In this role, you will:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 



                             

•       Prepare products and goods for shipment following IATA and DOT requirements for International and domestic shipments, assuring proper packaging to avoid damage

•       Verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments by examining contents and comparing with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders

•       Prepare paperwork to include shipping labels, invoices and instructions for products as well as complete necessary transactions and record keeping via the ERP system or other documentation systems

•       Receive materials and supplies into warehouse (GMP)

•       Visually examine products for damage prior to entering into inventory or storage area

•       Maintain cleanliness and safety of the shipping, receiving area and warehouse

•       Operate fork lift, and pallet jacks as needed and assist with transport of materials to and from facilities (Commercial Truck)

Job Requirements









Qualifications and background to be successful in this role:

Required

•       High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

•       2 – 3 years of related experience

•       At least a Class B CDL or ability to obtain same within 90 days of hire

•       Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail

•       Physical ability to pack, receive and store goods and materials

•       Ability to use computer system to track goods and materials

•       Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally

•       At least 1 year Haz Mat/dangerous goods shipping certification and experience or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire

•       Be able to lift and carry 75 lbs.

Preferred

•       Fed Ex software knowledge a plus
