SR. FINANCIAL ANALYST – DDS (Discovery, Development and Analytical Services) In Lebanon, NJ

AMRI provides global contract research and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

The Sr. Financial Analyst is an integral part of the AMRI team, contributing to our success by

to gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data. The position will prepare recommendations regarding operating forecasts and budgets, capital spend plans, short-term financial outlooks and financial processes

 In this role, you will:

•         Reporting & Analysis of site results including monthly GL reviews and DDS Reporting Package. The position will facilitate site specific budget/forecast process and provide conclusions/recommendations in coordination with the DDS Sr. Financial Analyst.

•         Finance Business Partner for the US DDS Sites. Included is the development of the site and functional budgets/forecasts, monthly variance analysis and quarterly spend outlooks (risk & opportunities). Further enhance the detailed budget/forecast support.

•         Monthly Reporting & Analysis of DDS Headcount and ownership of DDS KPI reporting.  Includes ownership of Global revenue per headcount reporting.

•         FP&A ownership of monthly LBE meeting, data and reporting..

•         Assist in managing DDS CapEx, including monthly reporting (spend and committed) as well as annual planning.

•         Ad hoc analysis to include gathering information, both internal and external, to identify opportunities for pursuing strategies or corrective action alternatives to maximize Company performance.

•         Coordinate and ensure adherence to Corporate financial policies.

•         Recommend and implement methods to increase the quality of information provided to internal business partners.

•         Participate in self-development activities and training of others.

•         Perform other related duties as may be reasonably assigned in the course of business.

•         Provide analysis/decision support on requested matters to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or experience

•         BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline

•         4 or more years of experience in finance, accounting, forecasting/budgeting, or other related field

•         Advanced Excel and PowerPoint Skills are a must

•         Must possess excellent business partnering skills

•         Highly motivated individual with sound analytical skills dedicated to completing tasks on schedule

•         Creative problem solving and exceptional initiative are expected

•         Ability to drive process enhancements

•         Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, and legal documents.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Preferred additional experiences

•         Prior experience with ERP systems (Oracle) and/or Hyperion

•         Prior experience in Financial Planning & Analysis
