AMRI provides global contract research and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

The Project Coordinator is a key part of the local Project Management team, responsible for the administrative support of the department’s projects, ensuring cross-functional scheduling and system administration are accurately maintained. Attention to detail and good communication skills are necessary to be successful in this role. The individual in this position must be versatile and able to accommodate the needs of a diverse array of clients, both external and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

 

  • Supports client project meetings throughout project lifecycle, ensuring communication lines are clearly defined using Communication Plan and Contact Matrix

•         Utilize Microsoft Office and Planisware software to create agendas, minutes, schedules, and outlines (especially Gantt timelines) of client projects

•         Work with other departments to fulfill client needs regarding documentation, auditing, quality testing, etc.

  • Management of routine projects, such as ongoing product stability programs, as allocated by Manager of Project Management, ensuring a consistent approach by using approved templates and process flows
  • Work with department leads to ensure optimal capacity and project planning
  • Ensure timely escalation of potential issues to Line Manager/Manager of Project Management as appropriate
  • Promotes effective teamwork across departments

Job Requirements

Required

•         Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred; Education background focusing on Bioscience highly desired

•         2 years’ experience in project management role, customer service, or similar role

•         Comprehensive understanding of Windows-based Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Project

•         Ability to communicate and work with personnel of all levels, both internally and externally

•         Demonstrated proactive and organized approach, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task

Preferred

•         Experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology field strongly preferred
