PRODUCTION MANAGER in Grafton, WI

The Production Manager is an integral part of the AMRI team, contributing to our success by supervising the day to day production of APIs and intermediates at the Grafton Facility.

In this role, you will;                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           

•       Provide direct supervision for the Shift Supervisors

•       Oversee the daily production scheduling and planning, determine the human and material resources needed

•       Ensure that products are produced on time and are of good quality

•       Maintain the Finished Goods Inventory to ensure it is current and accurate

•       Ensure production-related CAPAs, change controls, QIs, and investigations are driven to completion in a timely manner

•       Communicate among different departments, e.g. quality control, quality assurance, materials management, warehouse, and accounting;

•       Identify training needs and implement a training program for Production, including training on processes, equipment, standard operating procedures, and safety and environmental procedures

Job Requirements



Qualifications and background to be successful in this role:

Required

 

•       A minimum of a Bachelor’s of Science degree with a major in Chemistry, Biology or other natural science

•       At least 5 years’ of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

•       2 to 3 years previous managerial experience with supervisory experience

•       Must have strong analytical skills; excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently. Must be assertive and detail oriented and possess strong leadership skills.  Must have strategic thinking and business acumen

Regularly required to sit or stand, climb stairs and move about entire facility. Employee must frequently use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. Must be able to hear and talk.  Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
