 PROCESS ENGINEER in Grafton, WI

In this role, you will:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       
  • Support production campaigns in the GMP manufacturing area by training operators, troubleshooting issues, supporting root cause investigations, performing engineering calculations, and implementing process improvements

  • Support projects for implementation of new capital equipment including engineering design, installation, start-up and qualification activities

  • Develop and track metrics for process improvements and equipment up-time

  • Benchmark with other API sites within AMRI to incorporate best practices within the organization

  • Support project teams focused on technology transfer, introduction of new products or processes, and validation

  • Support safety reviews of new and existing processes

  • Write SOPs, master batch records, and other GMP documents as requested



Job Requirements



Qualifications and background to be successful in this role:

Required

  • BS Chemical Engineering, or related field

  • 2 years’ experience in pharmaceutical/biotech operations, with thorough working knowledge of production unit operations and validation principles.

  • Experience with writing GMP documents including SOPs, master batch records, qualification documents, and technical reports
  • Direct experience with regulated environments (i.e. cGMP, OSHA, EPA, DEA) required
  • Experience with using statistical tools such as Minitab to drive process improvements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
