 MATERIALS COORDINATOR in Grafton, WI



 

AMRI provides global contract research and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

The Materials Coordinator is an integral part of the AMRI team, contributing to our success by performing the timely ordering of direct and indirect materials at AMRI while maintaining established schedules. This position will develop relationships with suppliers while maintaining AMRI’s quality and cost standards.

 In this role, you will:                               

  • Review items needed for purchase daily and generate Purchase Orders as necessary

  • Maintain ERP Inventory Accuracy, assisting in physical cycle counting

  • Generate ERP Transfer Paperwork and assist in preparing product for physical transfer

  • Perform ERP Receiving of product against open Purchase Orders, ensure accurate labeling of all products

  • Verify ERP transactions are being completed accurately by production

  • Receipt/delivery of non-ERP materials to appropriate personnel

  • Assist in Shipping Materials at AMRI Grafton.


Job Requirements



Qualifications and background to be successful in this role:

Required

  •  Associate's degree in logistics or business or 4 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.

  • Ability to effectively present and communicate information to all levels including top management, suppliers and across a multitude of departments.

  • Strong math skills including the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and the fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Preferred

  • Bachelors’ degree in business, logistics, or similar field

  • 4-5 years’ experience in a similar role in a cGMP environment
