MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

The Communications Manager will execute AMRI’s marketing and internal communication strategies and provide broad level project management across a variety of channels that support AMRI’s strategy, values and culture. 

This role will collaborate closely with AMRI’s senior management and other internal teams to formulate and deliver dynamic written and visual communications, provide vendor coordination and project execution. While reporting to the Head of Global Marketing and Communications, this individual will support development of all global Marketing Communications content that will drive the company’s messaging, initiatives and employee engagement.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

•         Builds strong relationships and partners with global internal contacts to develop and implement effective marketing communications initiatives across global sites.

•         Creates or manages the creation of  compelling content across internal and external communication platforms, i.e. email,  intranet,  social media, digital boards, presentations, live events, etc., reinforcing AMRI’s culture, vision and values.

•         Develops and manages marketing and social content strategy

•         Monitors all mentions of the company on mainstream, industry and social media

•         Creates and executes employee communication campaigns as needed.

•         Tracks effectiveness of communications programs where applicable and makes recommendations for improvement.

•         Manages and produces content for employee communication application

•         Day-to-day project management responsibility and accountability for communication efforts.

•         Manage relationships with third-party vendors, participates in selection and evaluation process.

•         Provide communications support for media and marketing events, and employee meetings.

•         Supports crisis communications as needed.

•         Administrative duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

•         Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years working experience in Marketing or PR Communications, preferably in matrixed and/or global corporation.

•         Expertise in internal communications and project coordination; Strong understanding of driving employee communications and engagement.

•         Excellent writing, editing, communications, networking and relationship building: Ability to synthesize and shape complex issues/opportunities into simple communication. Must have experience with Microsoft Office software.

•         Experience with Dynamic Signal or related platform.

•         Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop) preferred. 

•         Ability to travel as needed.
