A key member of the Drug Product business unit Finance team, with primary responsibility for delivering financial reporting, analysis & business insights to enhance Drug Product business operating performance

Responsibilities 

•Manages the Drug Product management reporting process to provide business and corporate leadership with timely reports on Drug Product financial results and related business insights
•Manages the Drug Product financial forecasting and budgeting process to provide business and corporate leadership, with timely, high-quality business forecasts and related business insights. Provides transparency into business drivers, risks and opportunities
•Develops and reports on the appropriate set of performance metrics for Drug Product
•Develops and documents standard financial processes with a focus on implementing common financial processes and practices globally across Drug Product sites
•Uses fact-based analysis and business judgment to proactively identify and communicate areas for operational and financial improvement
•Provides financial decision support on a wide scope of operational and strategic matters impacting the achievement of business objectives
•Serves as the finance reporting lead for the Drug Product HQ functions. Generates monthly reporting, ad-hoc analysis, and develops planning & forecasting processes
•As required, participates in Drug Product business unit and corporate initiatives to help drive them to successful completion
•Works closely and communicates effectively with corporate partners in Corporate Accounting, Operations Finance, Finance Services, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and IT to ensure that both Drug Product and corporate information and support needs are consistently met
•Works and manages effectively across the company’s matrix organization

Qualifications
•5 years of relevant experience with demonstrated success in a variety of business environments. Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance required
•Strong business acumen and judgment with the ability to think strategically about business issues
•Strong knowledge of US accounting regulations and company accounting policies and practices, and unquestioned integrity in the application of such standards
•Experience with manufacturing, inventory and cost accounting
•Outstanding business analysis, financial planning and reporting skills that generate business insights that add measurable value
•Excellent at workload prioritization, resource management, and project management
•Excellent interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal), and presentation skills
•Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix environment, and capable of gaining commitment and coordinated action for initiatives
•Possesses the behavioral attributes of the competencies in the AMRI finance competency model: critical thinking and analysis, business insight, decision making, drive for results, financial expertise, project management and process improvement, people management, collaboration and team work, and influence
•Experience in Financial reporting software such as Oracle, SAP, and Hyperion Essbase/Smartview. Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
