Intern, Quality Assurance- Validation in Rensselaer, NY

In this role, you will:     
• Work under the supervision of QA validation Manager or designee
• Writes and revises cGMP documents including batch records, validation reports and technical reports.
• Data entry/ Data mining of cleaning batch records and analysis for change over reports 
• Work with mfg. buildings to author / review the cleaning batch records
• Assist in site cleaning validation programs 
• Collect the necessary information related to the batches records and analytical results in authoring technical reports
• Edit documents written by others to verify accuracy, consistency, grammar, and format.  Particular attention paid to the harmonization of information amongst the many modules that make up the master batch record
• Interact closely with Analytical, Manufacturing, Engineering and QA.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and background to be successful in this role:

Preferred
• Senior year bio-chemistry / pharmaceutical chemistry student; 
• Knowledgeable in fundamental chemical analysis and data analysis, able to interpret the basic spectra’s (UV vis , IR)
• Experience in scientific writings / research project reports
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office software (Word and Excel)
• Able to work  around 20-30 hrs/week (work hours are flexible based on student schedules)
