Intern, Chemical Development in Albany, NY

In this role, you will:

• Work alongside an experienced Chemical Development Scientist to conduct synthetic organic chemistry reactions for the preparation of pharmaceutical intermediates. 

• As experience is gained and the intern demonstrates mastery of the basic techniques, it is envisioned that they will take more control over the planning of their workday. 

• Interns will present a poster summarizing their work at the conclusion of the summer program,

Qualifications and background to be successful in this role:

Required

• 2 years of college towards a Natural Science degree

• 1 year of Organic Chemistry with lab

Preferred

• Additional Organic chemistry coursework

• Experience in working in a chemistry lab
