Business Development Operations Analyst

 

This role can sit at any of the AMRI US sites.  

AMRI provides global contract research and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

The Business Development Operations Analyst serves as the business analyst for centralized and consolidated measurement, planning, and reporting for the Business Development team. This person will provide coordination and support to Sales & Corporate management through summarization, reporting analysis, and interpretation of sales data. They will ensure all reporting activities are accurate and met timely.

Responsibilities

•         Complete routine internal reporting on key sales metrics

•         Prepare and provide supporting analysis month-end, quarter-end & year-end reporting and metrics (including but not limited to the region, business unit, and representative level) on a scheduled basis

•         Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

•         Conduct data analyses to address strategic questions

•         Produce high quality reporting and analysis to management as directed

•         Produce ad hoc reports independently

•         Provide analysis of the sales force data and drives action across the Company through timely, impactful deliverables

•         Assist in preparation analysis associated with management level presentation and reporting while maintaining schedules for key sales metrics

•         Assist line manager and Business Development management team to support projects and initiatives

Support the development and management of the sales incentive compensation process, including plan development/publication, target setting methodology, payout calculation design, sales incentive compensation automation, reporting/monitoring/analysis design, and field education

Job Requirements

Required

•         BA/BS in business related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

•         A minimum of two years of moderate experience in a data analysis function within the pharmaceutical or CMO/CRO industry or comparable experience in a related field of study

•         Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Possess a strong understanding of data organization, statistical tasks, duties, interpretation of data, synthesis of findings, and appropriate reporting

•         Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, analytical ability, and demonstrated critical thinking skills

•         Ability to organize, prioritize, meet deadlines, follow-up, and coordinated multiple assignments

Preferred

•         Salesforce.com experience is a plus

•         Experience working with sales data and /or business intelligence information preferred

•         Knowledge of the CRO industry strongly desired
