Summary of Role:
As part of the Global Total Rewards team, the role will manage and administer US employee health and retirement-related benefits program, which may include 401(k) plans, insurance policies such as health, prescriptions, life, and disability and leave policies, wellness and well-being programs. The role will have shared responsibility for International Benefits across multiple countries. The role will manage benefits vendor relationship, open enrollment process, renewal, and delivery of benefits as well as develop and conduct communication to employees. The role will monitor benefits related regulations and market trends to ensure that our programs are current, competitive, and in compliance with all regulatory filings and notices. This role will work hand in hand with the global HR team to develop and drive benefits strategy and programs globally.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze US and International benefits programs, track benefits spending, study employee requirements, trends and developments in benefits offered by other organizations and make recommendations accordingly for management review.
- Complete all necessary regulatory filings and notices, study existing and new legislation; obtaining qualified opinions; enforce compliance, advise management on needed actions.
- Partner managing International Benefits Brokerage relationship, benefits strategy and renewals across diverse countries with local country HR Leadership to meet and support diverse business needs.
- Ensure benefit records are accurate and up to date in the record keeping system including new-hires and record changes are reflected timely.
- Resolves employee questions and issues by interpreting benefit policies and procedures.
- Develop communication materials to help employees under the benefits offerings and make informed decisions in their enrollment elections.
- Manage benefit providers and monitor statement of work deliverables on US health & welfare, expatriate health insurance carriers, mobility and relocation vendors
- Manage Benefits, Leaves, Worker’s Compensation Specialist and cross-train team members and share knowledge on benefits
- Conduct process improvement analysis and recommend steps to reduce cycle time and improve employee experience in various benefits administration.
- Work on special projects and other duties as assigned and contributes to team effort for various HR and business initiatives.
